About Us...

The Angry Bean Coffeehouse first opened it's doors on December 14, 2009, right next door to it's parent-business, Ethan's Cafe.  In late-August, 2011, we restructured and combined Ethan's Cafe and The Angry Bean Coffeehouse into one.  We enjoyed over 11 years of serving friendly faces, until fire struck and destroyed the building housing Ethan's & The Angry Bean, on February 9, 2013.  We have opened our doors again, but this time in a new location:

People often ask us, "how did you come up with 'The Angry Bean' for a name?"  It's pretty simple.  Take a look at what happens to coffee beans: they are roasted, ground, and subjected to very hot water - wouldn't you be angry, too?!
